Odd SSRS design decisions

So I have to ask myself why it is so darn hard to provide the ability to set more than one font to a given text box.

Take an example textbox: [Name: John Smith]

Now lets say you are asked to bold just the 'Name:' portion of the text. Well with Crystal Reports the process is similar to editing a word document and extremely intuitive.

With SQL Server Reporting Services, not so much. You end up having to create another textbox and another column to store the text. Why?????
